About Us
Back in 1985, Gary Peeler started screen printing in his backyard in a 12×24 storage building. His passion and dedication quickly outgrew the storage building, leading him to establish a full operation with screen printing and embroidery machines. In the early 90s, Gary bought embroidery machines and learned to digitize, which he thoroughly enjoyed. This newfound love for digitizing led him to sell all his equipment and focus on digitizing full-time. As his business grew, he found himself too busy to complete all the orders, so he began hiring people to help him. All our punchers are trained to the highest standards from their first hire date. New employees begin with observation and transition to letter punching within the first month of employment. After mastering lettering, they progress to creating simple outlines and small graphics. Within nine months, new hires achieve master level digitizer status. To ensure quality standards are met, we conduct weekly meetings to test our standards against embroiderer reports.
At Midsouth, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and precision. One of the key factors that enable Midsouth to maintain such high standards is our collaboration with SanMar. Together, we work diligently to create templates for every style, ensuring that each design is digitized with the utmost accuracy and attention to detail. SanMar’s extensive expertise, resources and Innovation are the cornerstones of our collaboration. By Combining our knowledge and experience, we are able to develop cutting-edge templates that set the benchmark for quality in the industry The templates have tailored been tailored to match the unique characteristics of each style. This meticulous approach guarantees consistent and precise results, reducing the chances of errors and ensuring a flawless finish.
In January 2016, we faced a significant loss when Gary lost his battle with cancer. His two sons, Jared and Jeremy, and I are committed to honoring his legacy by continuing the business he built with so much passion and dedication.
With your continued support, we hope to carry on Gary’s legacy and become your “one-stop shop” for all your apparel decoration needs.
